2020 brings a new name to the same great Camp

Our camp is ever-changing, but ever the same.  We are providing the same great camping and spiritual experience, but we're changing our name.  Central Washington Catholic Youth Camp is transitioning to

Cor Christi Camp

The name change is being made to bring us closer to our sister ministries, Cor Christi Academy and Cor Christi Broadcasting.  We will still have the same program.  We will still be an all-volunteer ministry; your funds stay with the camp and we strive to keep costs affordable.  Cor Christi Ministries is one of our big donors, and we thank them.

Be on the lookout for a new website, new information and new communication about our 2020 Cor Christi Camp adventure.

Here we go!  Building on last year's success, we are busy in the planning stages for CWCYC 2019!

We have a new location; Lazy F Camp, in Ellensburg, Washington.  They were able to give us an attractive date -June 23-28, and Ellensburg is a great location for most people from a travel perspective.

NEWS!  We will be doing registrations online this year, to serve you better.  We will also have credit card payments available; we ask that you pay the processing fees if you choose this.  Of course you can send us a check (no processig fees!).  You no longer will have to print out a bunch of pages, fill them out manually, and then mail the big lump!

We're excited!

Our all-volunteer team has a heart for your children, as we promise another week of fun, faith and friendship!

Why Do We Do This?

Someone wanted to know if there is any compensation for the staff of CWCYC. If they mean monetarily, the answer is "No!"  the three of us (so far) are volunteering our time, talent and a little treasure even, to make Camp happen.  Our compensation is the wonderful rewards that come from doing something beautiful for God. We love God; we love kids!  That's why we are doing this. God wants it, so we want it.

'Nuff said?  Thanks for reading.
